Join NorTech Energy Enterprise for a highly informative, interactive workshop on Transportation Electrification where you will have the opportunity to gain broad global insights from national experts at the forefront of the dramatic transformation of the automotive industry.  These experts represent leading research institutions, a vehicle manufacturer on the verge of a major rollout, and a utility representative in the most advanced vehicle electrification region of the country. This small workshop setting will allow you to raise and discuss your questions and issues with these nationally respected industry experts.  The following experts will provide information on vehicle and infrastructure technologies, emerging global markets and the policies and regulations that will drive and shape growth.

 

          Britta Gross, GM

Director of Global Energy Systems and Infrastructure Commercialization and one of the leaders of the Chevrolet Volt rollout. 

          Mark Duvall, Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI)

Director of Electric Transportation and Energy Storage for EPRI, Dr. Duvall will participate by phone during Ms. Gross’s presentation and Q&A.

          Veerender Kaul, Frost & Sullivan

Research Director of F&S’s Automotive and Transportation Practice, Mr. Kaul has authored and managed numerous studies and projects on powertrain systems, electric vehicles, and other advanced automotive technologies and systems.

          Dean Taylor, Southern California Edison (via video conference)

As Senior Program Manager in the Electric Transportation Division, Mr. Taylor is a leading authority on policies and regulations related to electric vehicles.

 

NorTech Energy Enterprise is developing four advanced energy roadmaps focusing on sectors with compelling regional assets and global market opportunities for Northeast Ohio: transportation electrification, energy storage, biomass/waste-to-energy, and smart grid. This workshop is being hosted as part of NorTech's efforts on the development of a roadmap in the transportation electrification sector.
